The EU Directive 2011/65/EU, which refers to “Restriction of Hazardous Substances” or “RoHS”, is made by the European Union (EU) and took effect on 1 July 2011.

EU Directive 2011/65/EU, which refers to the restriction of harmful substances or ROHS, was formulated by the European Union (EU) and came into effect on July 1, 2011.

This restricts the use of the following ten hazardous substances in the manufactures of various types of the electrical and electronic devices:
